RP Surveys started trading in 1989. Prior to this Roger worked with Nigel Green(NRG Surveys) for 3 – 4 yrs


Since starting, RP surveys have been involved in a wide range of projects, such as Major highways – Hydro power schemes – Remediation works for housing development – Film sets – International airports – Back gardens –
Quarries – Large scale deformation monitoring – Tunnels – Retail parks – Urban pedestrianisation – Tram works.

In 1998 Roger attended The Nottingham Trent University (TNTU) & obtained a 2:1 in Civil Engineering Surveying,
mainly to further his knowledge & professional development. Along the way he “collected” the following awards;

Burks, Green & partners “Design, Make and Break” Prize Global Surveys Ltd “Best 1 st Year Student on the Surveying Field Course”
Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors award for “Outstanding Performance and Overall Merit” (1 st Year)
Plowman, Craven and Associates prize for the “Best Final Year BSc/HND Project”
Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors award for “Outstanding Performance and Overall Merit” (Final Year) The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Geomatics Faculty Prize, Surveying for Engineering. (Final Year)

After completing the degree course he was employed as a Part time lecturer for two semesters at the School of Construction and the Environment within TNTU, however moving to N.Wales & starting a family meant that this enjoyable employment had to cease.

Since leaving TNTU a return to the "real" world of construction has followed with Roger working on sites
throughout the North West.
